In November 2014, fund leaders launched the"For Bath, Forever" campaign to grow the endowment. In June 2015, they reached their initial goal to raise $250,000 thanks to the gifts of 85 founding donors. Now they are working toward raising $2.018 million in celebration of Bath's bicentennial.
With an endowment of more than $2 million, Bath Community Fund would be able to grant at least $100,000 back into the community each year. Funding can support qualified nonprofit organizations that enhance the cultural, artistic, educational, health and civic well-being of the Bath community. That could include, but is not limited to, the more than 60 nonprofits in Bath, ranging from churches, scout troops and neighborhood associations to civic, business and sports organizations.
To date, Bath Community Fund has invested nearly $50,000 into local causes that enrich the quality of life of all Bath residents.
