Bath Community Fund calls for grant proposals
Bath Community Fund of Akron Community Foundation is now accepting grant proposals from nonprofit organizations that make a positive impact in the Bath and Revere communities.
Grant applications will be considered for programs that demonstrate a commitment to preserving Bath's historical and environmental legacy, enhancing the local arts and culture landscape, serving youth, providing educational and recreational resources, and meeting residents' social service needs.
In 2025, Bath Community Fund awarded 19 grants totaling $40,000 to organizations serving the Bath and Revere communities. Funded projects supported park improvements, environmental education, youth development, arts and cultural experiences, historic preservation, and social services. Highlights included a new climbing dome at Bath Community Park, a healing garden and heritage trail at Crown Point Ecology Center, assistance for Revere families through The Heart of Revere, environmental education programs at Bath Nature Preserve, therapeutic horseback riding programs for local youth, and arts enrichment opportunities through Apollo's Fire and Tuesday Musical Association.
Since 2014, the fund has grown to more than $2 million and reinvested more than $350,000 into the Bath community. A committee of Bath Community Fund Advisory Board members, donors and community leaders will review the requests and make determinations. Grant decisions will be announced in early December.
