Our funding supports:
Job creation and economic development, including support for the Fund for Our Economic Future
Crime prevention and neighborhood safety, including grants to help former offenders become productive and law-abiding citizens
Urban development, including a grant to the Western Reserve Land Conservancy to create a land bank of vacant and abandoned properties in Akron
Energy conservation and environmental protection, including a grant to help Rebuilding Together Northeast Ohio make energy-efficient modifications and repairs to the homes of elderly and low-income residents
Community service, civic engagement and beautification efforts, including funding for public space improvements through Downtown Akron Partnership
Parks and recreation, including funding for animal education programs at the Akron Zoo
