About Sylvia
Sylvia Trundle retired in July 2017 as captain of the patrol subdivision of the Akron Police Department. Sylvia currently serves on the boards of Cleveland Clinic Akron General and Girls On The Run. She is a graduate of Leadership Akron and a recipient of the Women's Endowment Fund of Akron Community Foundation's Judith A. Read Tribute Award for Service and Advocacy for Women and the Women's Network of Northeast Ohio's Women of Achievement award. Sylvia, a certified law enforcement executive, is a graduate of the FBI National Academy and the Police Executive Leadership College.
