Medina County Women’s Endowment Fund Grants

In 2019, the Medina County Women’s Endowment Fund awarded grants totaling $23,325 to seven local nonprofits:

BEAT Video Program

The following is a full list of organizations receiving grants in 2019:

  • Brunswick Educational Foundation, to support the BEAT Video Program, an award-winning, youth-driven news outlet covering Medina County, $5,000*
  • Child Guidance & Family Solutions, to support the Toddlers And Preschoolers Succeeding (TAPS) intervention program to reduce school expulsion in Medina County, $1,500
  • Feeding Medina County, to support Weekenders for Children in Medina County, $5,000*
  • Main Street Medina, to support fresh food access for low- to moderate-income residents in the City of Medina, $1,750
  • Marian’s Closet, to provide new bedding for Medina County’s residents in need, $2,500
  • OutSupport Inc., to purchase LGBTQ youth library resources for Medina County school districts, $2,075
  • Rape Crisis Center, to support the Heroes 4 Hope dating and sexual violence prevention program, providing teens with activity-rich education about healthy relationships, $2,500
  • Recovery Center of Medina County, to support art therapy interventions for women and children in distress, $2,000
  • Stewart’s Caring Place, to support cancer wellness services for women in Medina County, $1,000
