Akron Children's Museum offers a fun and engaging space for children and families, and it's nestled in Lock 3 Park in downtown Akron. Visitors are met with colorful, hands-on exhibits focused on a wide range of STEAM topics (science, technology, engineering, arts and mathematics).

Akron Community Foundation supports the Akron Children's Museum through funding from our Education grant cycle, Women's Endowment Fund, and more. With a recent grant, the museum provided a "Museum in a Box" to more than 750 Summit County Head Start students with exhibits, hands-on classroom activities, curated materials and take-home kits.

Community members can support the museum through donations, memberships and several other avenues. For more information, visit akronkids.org.
