About Quinnie

Quinnie Lane recently retired from The Goodyear Tire & Rubber Company following a 45-year career in cybersecurity, IT, corporate accounts marketing, and sales. Her professional experience also includes serving as an adjunct professor for the University of Akron and as a real estate agent. Quinnie is active in the Akron community, volunteering with organizations such as the Akron Symphony Orchestra, Akron Children's Hospital, and the University of Akron Women's Committee. She is also a member of the Akron Alumnae Chapter of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority Inc. In 2023, Quinnie was honored with the ATHENA Leadership Award. Quinnie is an alumna of the University of Akron, where she earned an MBA in international business and a bachelor's degree in business and organizational communications.
