About Kendra

Kendra is a licensed CPA and the vice president of the Assurance Services Group at Meaden & Moore, where she also leads the firm's not-for-profit practice. During her nearly 20-year tenure at Meaden & Moore, Kendra has worked directly with numerous privately held corporations and not-for-profit organizations, performing both attestation and tax services. She is also a member of the firm's Diversity, Equity & Inclusion Committee and a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and the Ohio Society of Certified Public Accountants. Kendra's current community and philanthropic pursuits include serving on the boards of the United Way of Summit & Medina, Akron Art Museum, Greater Akron Chamber, and the Black Giving Collective Fund of Akron Community Foundation. She is also a member of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc. Akron Alumnae Chapter. Kendra previously served as president of the Women's Endowment Fund of Akron Community Foundation and has held leadership roles at several area nonprofits, including ArtsNow and ATHENA Akron. She is also an annual presenter on not-for-profit financial basics to Leadership Akron's Diversity on Board program and has previously served as a panelist on diversity in the accounting industry for Brouse McDowell and AGN International. Kendra has received numerous awards, including 40 Under 40 Black CPAs from Black CPA Centennial, Forty Under 40 from Crain's Cleveland Business, and 30 for the Future from the Greater Akron Chamber. Kendra is a graduate of Leadership Akron Class 33 and Torchbearers. She holds a degree in accounting from the University of Akron.
