About Jesse

Jesse Hurst is the CEO of Impel Wealth Management, which he founded in 2017 out of a desire to help individuals and families "move life forward" through meaningful conversations, comprehensive planning, and sound financial advice. With more than 30 years of experience in the financial planning industry, Jesse leverages his deep knowledge and skillset to help clients in the areas of investment portfolio management, retirement income planning, and estate planning. Jesse has been named a Best-In-State Wealth Advisor for the State of Ohio by Forbes Magazine for many consecutive years. He has also served as president of the Financial Planning Association's Northeast Ohio Chapter and on Cetera Advisors' President's Advisory Council. Jesse is deeply involved in community service and has previously held board leadership roles with the United Way of Summit & Medina, International Soap Box Derby, Heart to Heart Communications, OPEN M, Weathervane Community Playhouse, and Akron Community Foundation's Professional Advisor Council. Jesse is an alumnus of the University of Akron and holds designations as both a Certified Financial Planner and an Accredited Investment Fiduciary.
