About Angie

Angie Wells is the vice president of operations for GPD Group, an 800-person architectural and engineering firm headquartered in Akron. During her more than 30-year tenure, Angie has overseen hundreds of projects nationally for both the public and private sectors. Angie is an active volunteer and currently serves on the boards of the United Way of Summit & Medina and the American Council of Engineering Companies of Ohio. She previously served on the University of Akron Women in Engineering Board, the City of Norton Board of Zoning Appeals, and many other planning and development boards. Angie is an alumna of the University of Akron, where she earned a bachelor's degree in civil engineering. She also holds a Professional Engineer Registration and LEED accreditation.
