Tickets to the Women's Endowment Fund's annual "For Women, Forever" celebration are now on sale at akroncf.org/ForWomenForever. The event will take place on Thursday, March 26, 2026, at 5:30 p.m. at Quaker Station.
Sponsors and VIP guests are invited to an exclusive VIP reception with an open bar and appetizers at 5 p.m. Doors open at 5:30 p.m. for all other guests to enjoy networking and beverages. Guests will be seated for dinner by 6:30, and the main program will begin at 6:50.
Hosted by Sara Shookman, the program will feature the announcement of the fund's 2026 grant recipients and a fireside chat with 2026 Judith A. Read Tribute Award recipient Bernett L. Williams, chief engagement officer at Akron Children's.
This year's event theme is "Strength in Action." Event chair Holli Mallak explained why the committee chose the theme, saying, "As women in Summit County, we are lucky to be surrounded by women who demonstrate strength through their daily actions. If each guest takes one thing away from the evening, I want it to be a renewed determination to empower and inspire the people in their lives."

Guests are encouraged to wear shades of gold to the event. Young professional tickets are $100, general admission tickets are $150, and VIP tickets are $250. Tickets are available online until Friday, March 13, at akroncf.org/ForWomenForever. All proceeds from the event support the Women's Endowment Fund's grantmaking to programs that improve the health and wellness, safety, and economic empowerment of women and girls in Summit County.
Major sponsors of this year's event include Akron Children's; Leppo Rents; The Read Family; and State & Federal Communications. Guests who want to reserve a table are encouraged to sponsor the event or purchase a half-table, which includes four VIP tickets, for $1,000. Sponsorships are available at akroncf.org/ForWomenForever-Sponsorship and include tickets to the event, recognition in event materials, and an invitation to a pre-celebration reception.
