I am grateful to be working with an organization that is supporting mission-driven work in Akron. I find meaningful purpose in sharing stories of generosity, collaboration and impact that inspire others to make a difference in our community.

What She Does

Amanda supports a diverse array of marketing initiatives at the community foundation, including special events, digital communications, advertising and more. She also provides strategic marketing support for the foundation's affiliate funds, helping them promote their impact in the community.

What She Did Before

Amanda brings nearly 20 years of experience in integrated marketing, public relations, brand strategy, and visual storytelling. She has developed marketing strategies and campaigns for clients across healthcare, government, retail and nonprofit sectors, helping organizations connect with their audiences through compelling storytelling and creative communications. Her previous experience includes communications roles with Akron Children's Hospital and the City of Akron Mayor's Office. Amanda has a bachelor's degree in public relations from Kent State University.
