From our president: Sunnier days ahead

Although the groundhog may have seen his shadow and we have many more weeks of winter ahead of us, the Medina County Women's Endowment Fund has been working hard on carrying out our mission this winter.
To help educate the community about our work and the various ways to become involved in our efforts, we are hosting a virtual board member meet and greet on Thursday, Feb. 25 at 5:30 p.m. Anyone who works or lives in Medina County is welcome to join and learn more about our Medina County Women's Endowment Fund. To register for our meet and greet, contact medinacountywef@gmail.com.
As we look forward to April showers and May flowers, our grant application is currently open for local nonprofits. The application closes on March 1. We look forward to reviewing the applications and identifying the greatest needs of women and children in our community. Our grantees will be announced at our annual Seasons of Giving event in June.
As we dream of sunnier days ahead, we are pleased to announce after postponing Seasons of Giving in 2020, we will be back as a virtual event on June 10. Our planning committee is working hard to reimagine this event under our current landscape and we are excited to share more details with you very soon. Proceeds from the event support the Medina County Women's Endowment Fund's mission of providing grants to nonprofits that create opportunities for the educational, physical, emotional, social, artistic and personal growth of women and children.
Spring and summer will be upon us sooner rather than later. Embrace the small moments as we await a brighter future.

President,
