About Katie

Katie Smucker has called Akron home after living and working in numerous locales from Colorado to Brazil to Canada. She quickly ingrained herself in the community through numerous volunteer and board service opportunities, such as serving on the Women's Endowment Fund board and the Boys & Girls Clubs of the Western Reserve marketing committee.  Prior to moving to Akron, Katie worked in various marketing and operations roles in South America. She is a graduate of Fort Lewis College in Durango, Colorado, and Catholic University Quito Ecuador.
