To keep our employees, donors and agencies healthy during the COVID-19 outbreak, Akron Community Foundation offices will be closed until further notice. Procedures have been put in place to continue our work off-site and to ensure that your donations and grants will continue to be processed, but please note that our turnaround time may be a bit longer than normal.

In addition, we have established the Community Response Fund for Nonprofits to assist our local agencies during this crisis situation.

Contacting ACF Staff

ACF staff will be reachable by both email and their office phone lines while working off-site. Email is the preferred method of contact, but if you call and receive a voicemail, please leave a message and your contact will return your call soon. Faxes will not be received during this time.

Donations

Donations will continue to be accepted, though you may experience some delay in receiving acknowledgements as we adjust our processes to eliminate physical interaction among staff members. Please make your donations online if possible to allow for the quickest turnaround time.

Grants

Grants will continue to be distributed, though you may experience some delays as we adjust our processes to eliminate physical interaction among staff members.

Our Arts & Culture grants are continuing as usual, with applications due by April 1. The grant decision for those applications will be approved at our June board meeting.

We also launched the Community Response Fund for Nonprofits to benefit organizations that are on the front lines of the COVID-19 outbreak. Learn more about what we're funding and how to apply.
