In recent months, Bath Community Fund has hosted several small gatherings to share information about what the fund is doing in and for the Bath community.

In August, the advisory board hosted a Girls Night Social at the Regal Beagle in the Bath Nature Preserve. Ladies from the community enjoyed an evening of socializing, food and libations while learning about Bath Community Fund's 200 Years - 200 Women campaign. The campaign commemorates the township's bicentennial by encouraging residents to donate $1,000 or more in honor or memory of a woman who has made a lasting difference in their life.

"It was a special chance to come together with extraordinary women in our community who are engaged, energetic and committed," said Jody Miller Konstand, chair of Bath Community Fund's Development Committee. "The Regal Beagle was so full of life and promise that we were left feeling that anything is possible."

In October, Diana and Jim McCool generously hosted a gathering in their home so their neighbors and other Bath residents could learn how Bath Community Fund is strengthening the community for current and future generations. Guests heard about the impact Bath Community Fund has made through its nearly $75,000 in grants to local nonprofits, including Crown Point Ecology Center, Hale Farm & Village, Victory Gallop and Western Reserve Playhouse.

"We are pleased to support 'our' community fund as donors and as an advisory board member, and we invite you to join us in supporting the legacy we are building together in the Bath community through Bath Community Fund," Diana said.

To continue expanding the fund's impact in the community, Bath Community Fund also hosted a grant writing workshop for area nonprofit organizations. The workshop, taught by Dave Holmes of Candid Midwest, included helpful tips for writing and submitting a quality grant proposal.
