Celebrate philanthropy in Medina County by supporting Seasons of Giving

MEDINA, Ohio (Feb. 22, 2018) – The Medina County Women’s Endowment Fund is seeking sponsors for its upcoming Seasons of Giving event on Thursday, June 14. This inaugural event will celebrate philanthropy in the community and honor women who are outstanding role models for giving to others in Medina County.

The evening will feature a keynote exchange in Q&A style between Suzanne Allen, Ph.D., president and CEO of Philanthropy Ohio, and notable community philanthropist and volunteer Barbara Dzur. The event will also celebrate the accomplishments of local nonprofit organizations serving women and children and recognize the fund’s 2018 grant recipients.

Seasons of Giving will take place at 6 p.m. at the Blue Heron Event Center in Medina. Corporate and individual sponsorships range from $250 to $5,000 and include complimentary tickets, special promotional opportunities and more. The Medina County Women’s Endowment Fund, an affiliate of Akron Community Foundation, was established in 1998 to improve the lives of women and children in Medina County. The mission of the Medina County Women’s Endowment Fund is to fund organizations and programs in Medina County that support women and children, to serve as a catalyst for needed projects, and to assist women in their growth as philanthropists. The fund encourages the advancement and full participation of women and children in the community and in society.
